OPEN CALL AUDITION

Dancers and Singer/Dancers

SESAME STREET LIVE! - National Tours

 

VEE Corporation, producer of Sesame Street Live and other family-friendly stage productions, is holding an open call audition for future tours and replacement positions.

 

FULL-BODY COSTUME CHARACTERS: we require versatile dancers, with strong technical ability in jazz and musical theatre dance styles, in the height range of 4’11” to 6’1”. Gymnastics and tap are pluses. Dance combinations will be taught at 2 pm. 

 

FEMALE LIVE-MIC PERFORMERS        

Height Range: 5’2”-5’7”. 

Must be able to dance well, sing, and act. A dance combination will be taught. Prepare two vocal selections, 16 bars each: ballad and up-tempo (a cappella or instrumental CD). Prepare an upbeat, one-minute monologue. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A LIVE ROLE, ALL PERFORMERS MUST COMPLETE THE DANCE PORTION OF THE AUDITION at 2:00pm.

 

Tours run an average of ten months.  For consideration, please bring a picture and resume and wear or bring dance attire. Performers must be 18 or older. All available positions are PAID and NON-UNION.

Where To Enter: 15th Street and Cecil B Moore entrance across the street from the Parking Garage.

I am a one man band with an amazing and very kid friendly music machine (see www.professorworldband.com ). I was hoping to get some information about how to get in touch with Sesame Street Production about a possible performance on the show.
