Our Minneapolis, Minnesota facilities include Costumes & Creatures®, VEE Production Services and the corporate offices for touring shows such as SESAME STREET LIVE. In addition, we have touring positions with the SESAME STREET LIVE companies and other touring projects. If you are interested in auditioning for a character role, please go to our Auditions page.

Generally, two types of positions are available — positions on the road and positions in our main offices and shops. When appropriate, specific job postings will be listed under Current Job Openings. VEE CORPORATION CORPORATE OFFICE

Stage Directors, Choreographers and Musical Directors are contracted on a work-for-hire basis. We solicit candidates that have extensive experience in children's entertainment, including theater, film, television, and special events. The candidates we seek must have experience working with licensed products, characters and services.

Office positions with VEE Corporation include, but are not limited to, working with Marketing, Sales, Production, Operations and Accounting. Experience within an entertainment environment is desirable, but not necessary.

TOURING

Most touring positions require a commitment of 45 weeks on the road.

Positions that open in the SESAME STREET LIVE touring divisions are typically for stagehands in carpentry, electrics, sound, props and wardrobe.

All candidates should have comprehensive knowledge of their craft.
A theatre or arena touring background is desirable, but not required.
Membership in IATSE may be a requirement for some technical positions.
Candidates with a knowledge of theatrical rigging are desired.
Candidates who possess a Class 'A' Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or who desire to obtain a Class 'A' CDL are desired.
Company Manager and Assistant Company Manager candidates must have box office, managerial, and touring experience in either arenas or theaters.
Asst. Company Manager candidates should possess superior organizational skills and a basic knowledge of theatrical management and touring procedures.

COSTUMES & CREATURES®

Seasonal and year round work is available for stitchers and craftspeople (latex, soft sculpture, molds, animated heads and millinery) at our costume shop.
